Semiramis Brazil Cerrado Whole Bean Coffee - Medium
Brazil is a true coffee superpower, which has been supplying the world and Europe with good quality coffee for more than 200 years. It is currently the world's largest coffee producer, with one third of the total quantity being produced there. Its range includes numerous varieties, with three quarters of its coffee plants being Arabica.
The special feature of Brazilian fincas, or farms, stems from their location and natural resources, as the coffee plants here grow between 400 and 1600 metres above sea level, in ideal climatic conditions. The area known as Cerrado is largely situated at an altitude of 900 metres, with the vast habitat having a tropical, subtropical climate, which provides an excellent environment for Brazil Cerrado coffee.
The Brazil Cerrado coffee grown here is processed using natural methods, with the fruit pulp being partially or completely left on the beans during drying, giving the coffee bean special, fruity notes. The creamy, smooth-bodied, low-acid, balanced coffee often carries nutty flavours, with its caramel flavours also being easily discernible with light roasting, while chocolatey flavours come to the fore with medium roasting.
Producer information
SEMIRAMIS Kft. has been involved in coffee roasting and distribution for more than 25 years. Each year, they import nearly 25-30 tonnes of hand-picked Arabica coffee from more than 20 countries. They roast in their own roasting plant using Viennese, French and Italian methods. This means that their customers always receive freshly roasted coffee. In recognition of their high-quality service, they received the Corporate Club award in 2004. In order to achieve an even higher standard, they are members of the Speciality Coffee Association. Their aim is to contribute to the development of an increasingly high-level coffee culture in Hungary.
Storage
Once opened, we recommend storing in the refrigerator to enjoy the flavour of this special coffee for as long as possible.
