Hajdú Lactose-free grilling cheese

Our natural flavoured Fitt Pan and grilling cheese is now also available in a lactose-free version! Just like the traditional Pan and grilling cheese version, it has a soft and light texture. It has a lower fat content than other classic grilling cheeses, but the delicious flavour remains the same! We recommend it for salads, vegetables, and light meals.

Producer information

Kőröstej Kft. was founded in 1991 and has since become Hungary's largest cheese producer and one of its most significant food exporters. The number of employees exceeds 1000 people.

Every year, they process more than 110 million litres of excellent quality milk, sourced exclusively from Hungarian dairy farms, in their plants in Barcs, Hajdúböszörmény and Kőröstetétlen, while in Kacsóta, Baranya county, they produce processed cheeses. The company produces 40,000 tonnes of cheese per year, which is almost equivalent to half of the Hungarian cheese consumption. 

The Hajdú brand is the flagship of the Kőröstej group. The name has a long history in the Hungarian dairy industry, as the Hajdú County Dairy Company, founded in 1957, was one of the largest Hungarian dairy companies until the transformation following the change of regime. Thus, the "Hajdú" brand name has been a household name in Hungary for more than 50 years.
