Cseppnyi Birtok Ghee Butter

Handmade product from a family farm, free of preservatives and additives.

Ghee butter is an excellent alternative to traditional butter and oil. It contains omega 3 and omega 9 fatty acids, vitamins and minerals. It has a very long shelf life (can be stored between 0-25°C), because the purification of the butter is a kind of preservation process, which removes the components responsible for rancidity.

The origin of Ghee

Ghee is a traditional Indian food, made from churned butter of domestic water buffalo or cow's milk. The production of ghee was necessary because in the local climate the butter quickly deteriorated, and refrigerated storage was not possible.

Suggested use

Ghee butter is a versatile ingredient in any kitchen, which can be used for cooking, frying in oil and oven, and can also be spread on bread.

"On our family farm, we produce our own dairy products from the milk of our Jersey cows. When keeping our animals and producing our products, we consider attention to detail and high quality to be important. As feedback to this, in 2022 we participated in two cheese competitions, at the 2nd Nógrád County Cheese Competition our parenyica and cream cheese received a silver qualification, and our natural yoghurt, at the 10th National Cheese Competition our parenyica cheese received a bronze qualification, and our natural yoghurt and butter received a silver qualification."
