Gyermelyi Whole Wheat Fusilli

Thanks to its design, it is a showy, springy pasta that captures any sauce. It is also excellent as a side dish and as a base for pasta salads.

Preparation suggestion

MASCARPONE, GREEN PEA FUSILLI WITH SALMON

Ingredients

• 400 g Gyermelyi Whole Wheat Fusilli,
• 0.5 dl oil,
• 4 green onions,
• 500 g salmon fillet,
• 200 g mascarpone,
• 150 g young peas,
• 1 untreated lemon,
• 50 g pea pods,
• salt,
• ground pepper,
• fresh basil.

Preparation

• Cut the fish into two-finger slices and the green onions into large pieces.
• Clean the pea pods and cut them into 2-3 pieces.
• Cook the pasta in plenty of salted boiling water until it is al dente, adding the peas towards the end of cooking. Set aside a little of the pasta cooking water, drain the pasta, but do not rinse it!
• While the pasta is cooking, sauté the onion in oil in a large frying pan, then add the fish and cook over a high heat. Season with salt and pepper, then add the cream cheese, the grated lemon zest and juice, and the pea pods.
• Add some of the reserved pasta cooking water, stir well, then add the drained pasta and peas.
• Sprinkle with fresh basil, then stir on the stove for another 1-2 minutes and serve.
