Hake has been an indispensable part of summer holidays at Lake Balaton since the 1960s. Many people mistakenly think it is a "Balaton" fish because of this, but hake actually comes from sea fishing.

Rich in omega-3 fatty acids.

Instructions for use

Fry in plenty of oil, previously frozen.

Serving suggestion

1. Thaw the frozen fish in half a liter of lightly salted milk. After thawing, we recommend thoroughly cleaning the fish again due to machine processing.
2. Before frying, mix 200 g of flour, 3 eggs and paprika to taste into 2 dl of salted milk.
3. Drain the fish trunks, dip them in the batter and fry them in hot oil for about 10 minutes until crispy.
4. We recommend fresh bread, fried chips and pickles for serving.

Tip: Use Basso frying oil for frying, which is also excellent for frying fish due to its high flash point.
