About the manufacturer

The Kőbánya brewery, opened in 1854, became Hungary's first brewery that is still in production today - as the Dreher Sörgyárak Zrt. factory. In the mid-19th century, Antal Dreher introduced the bottom-fermentation brewing technology and developed a new type of beer: Lagerbier. Later, this earned him the honorary title of "King of Beer", and this became the basis for the great Dreher beers.

From the very beginning, Dreher has been successful at numerous international fairs and exhibitions, including winning a gold medal at the 1900 Paris World Exhibition. The members of the product family regularly receive prestigious awards at international beer competitions.
