Coconut oil

Coconut oil consists of more than 90% saturated fatty acids. Unlike other cooking oils, it is highly resistant to heat: the medium-chain fatty acids that make up the majority of coconut oil do not turn into body fat.

It can be used for baking, cooking, and steaming. When used in baking, it produces a better texture and crumblier dough. Unlike regular oils, coconut oil can be used for frying more than once, as it does not produce toxic, carcinogenic substances even after repeated heating.

Store in a cool, dry place.
