Physalis (also known as Cape gooseberry or ground cherry) is a paper-wrapped fruit of South American origin, which is popular worldwide for its taste and health benefits. Here are the most important things to know:
The fruit mix contains (1) physalis and (2) blueberries.
The mix is packaged from the following two countries of origin: (1) Colombia, (2) Chile.
Health benefits:
- Immune system booster: Its high vitamin C content (41–52 mg/100 g) helps protect against free radicals and improves cell regeneration.
- Eye health: It is rich in vitamin A, which promotes good vision and reduces the risk of cataracts.
- Anti-inflammatory: Its compounds called withanolides help treat arthritis and inflammatory bowel diseases.
- Improved digestion: Its 15 g/100 g fibre content promotes bowel movement and reduces constipation.

Usage
