Horváth Rozi Garlic Granules
Garlic was already a favorite seasoning of the Romans. Its flavor is intense, slightly pungent and sweet. It is a very characteristic spice of Hungarian dishes, but Mediterranean and Asian cuisine also use it with pleasure.

We recommend it for stuffed pork belly.
Ingredients
1 kg pork belly, 15 dkg raisins, 1 tbsp Horváth Rozi garlic granules, 1 tbsp salt, 1 tbsp olive oil, 3 pcs chicken liver, 1 tbsp fresh thyme, 2 dl dry white wine.
Preparation
- Soak the raisins in as much hot water as it covers them.
- Meanwhile, spread out the meat as large as possible, rub in the garlic granules, salt, olive oil and fresh thyme.
- Sprinkle evenly with the raisins, the finely chopped chicken liver, then roll up the meat and tie it up.
- Salt the outside as well, then place it in a bowl and pour the wine over it.
- Covered, bake in a preheated oven at 200 degrees for 30 minutes, then at 150 degrees for another hour and a half, finally grill until golden brown.
- Tip: Prunes, star anise go well with pork belly, and instead of wine, you can also pour light beer on the meat.
