Rum Diplomatico Exclusiva 40%
Diplomatico Reserva Exclusiva is a blend of rums made using three different distillation techniques, and distilled from sugar cane honey, resulting in a richer, sweeter than average rum. Containing rums aged for up to 12 years, it has the characteristic sweet and fruity notes of the brand, but with a very concentrated and intense character.

Diplomático is a family business, which carries out everything from plant cultivation to bottling in order to create rums of exceptional quality. The brand was founded in 1959 and is owned by Destilerías Unidas S. A.
Its distillery is located in Venezuela, at the foot of the Andes. The proximity of sugar processing plants was an important consideration when choosing the location. The Unidas distillery is located in the heart of the breathtakingly beautiful Terepaima National Park, and produces the most diverse range of rums in Latin America. It is also one of the few distilleries in the world that is capable of producing not only rum, but also gin, whiskey, vodka, brandy and numerous liqueurs - and all to an exceptional quality.
The label of Diplomatico rums features Don Juancho, a local nobleman or mantuano, who travelled extensively in the Caribbean in the late 19th century, and passionately collected different spirits. The locals knew him as a very pleasant and smooth character, and he often treated his friends to some of his "Ambassador's Reserve". Diplomatico therefore follows the personality of Don Juancho in both its name and character.
