Balla Géza-Sziklabor Feketeleányka & Cabernet Franc 

Feketeleányka harvested from the Rókagödör vineyard, on old rocky soil, low vine load (30-40 q/ha), southern, south-western exposure. This wine is characterized by the intense fruitiness typical of Feketeleányka, with aromas reminiscent of sour cherry, blackcurrant and blueberry. Its taste is characterized by soft, round tannins and a pleasant acidity, which makes this variety so lovable. Red wine made with spontaneous fermentation and aged in 225 l small barrels.

80% of their 120-hectare vineyard is planted with blue grapes, 20% with white grapes, and their winery has a storage capacity of 8000 hl.
According to their philosophy, they primarily focus on traditional Carpathian Basin grape varieties. Their most famous white wines are Királyleányka, Mustos Fehér, which is native to the Ménes wine region, and Furmint, planted in 2008. Among their red wines, Kadarka, Kékfrankos and Feketeleányka, an inner Transylvanian grape variety planted in 2007, are deservedly popular.

The winery can also boast of a red aszu wine made from Kadarka, which is historically legendary and appears on the market under the name Kadarisszima in good years. In addition, of course, they also make wines from world varieties, from Rajnai Rizling and Sauvignon Blanc among the whites, and from Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot among the reds, which often appear in blends.
