Product description

Organic eggs are a product of controlled organic farming, which complies with the European Union's regulations on organic egg production. They do not consume feed containing chemical (chemicals, additives, dyes), biological (animal protein) or synthetic substances, and do not receive antibiotic treatments.

Producer information

Farm Tojás Kft. started operating in 1987 at its Bőny site, with broiler chicken fattening. They pay great attention to compliance with quality, hygiene, animal health and epidemic prevention regulations. In line with market demands, they have prioritised the development and expansion of animal-friendly - deep litter, free-range and organic - husbandry technologies at a high level and volume. Currently, more than half of their entire laying hen stock (350,000-400,000) is already producing in deep litter, within which the proportion of eggs produced in modern aviary systems is increasing.
