The leg (by which we mean the animal's hind leg) is the pig's largest muscle group, which is located around the thigh bone. It is usually sold boneless. Depending on its parts, it is suitable for cooking, roasting or steaming, or slow braising, confit. We can make goulash, stew, minced meat from it.
