Dodoni Halloumi cheese

Product description

Dodoni Halloumi is produced according to traditional Cypriot cheesemaking methods, in accordance with strict quality specifications at the DODONI factory in Limassol, Cyprus. Delicious fried or grilled, as the high melting point allows for the cheese to develop a tasty golden crust.

Semi-hard, unripened, brined cheese. Made from a mixture of cow's, sheep's and goat's milk, using traditional Cypriot technology, with the addition of a little mint.

Producer information

The history of the Dodoni agricultural cooperative dates back to 1963. Today, Dodoni is the leading producer of Greek feta, number one in Greece and in exports. It produces about 80 dairy products, among which are world-famous feta, fresh milk, yogurt, hard cow's cheese, galotyri, butter and many other fresh products. Since the 1980s, Dodoni products have been marketed abroad, so Dodoni has become an ambassador of Greece and especially of the Epirus region all over the world.
