Metaxa celebrated the 115th anniversary of its existence in 2003. Metaxa 12* is a 12-year-old Greek brandy made from the sweet grapes of the Peloponnese Peninsula. Its dark honey color and slightly vanilla aroma perfectly complement its full-bodied, woody flavor. Its wonderful flavor can best be enjoyed neat or on the rocks.

Its aroma is fresh and fruity, with a sweet character reminiscent of rich raisins. Its full-bodied, mature flavor is complemented by a hint of vanilla spice. The oaky character is also evident in its flavor. A distillate of Attic wines aged in oak barrels for at least 5 years, made truly unique by the addition of Muscat wine and herbs mixed with rose petals.About the brand
