The taste of this algae species is most similar to that of mussels, with a slightly nutty and sweet flavour, which is why it is most often added to sauces such as tartar sauce or pesto, but it can also be used to season potatoes baked in the oven or in a pan. You can use these flaked algae by adding them directly to your food, or by soaking them in water or another liquid beforehand. The softened algae can then be used in the same way as fresh algae. BORD à BORD "Dulse" algae is a brownish-red algae species with a shape similar to a palm leaf, which is collected off the coast of Ireland or France. This algae species is extremely rich in protein and, like other algae species, has a high vitamin and mineral content, which is preserved by the gentle process of washing with seawater, dehydrating at low temperatures, drying in a greenhouse and sifting.

This product is made from 100% plant-based ingredients and contains no artificial additives or colourings! Because of this, and the beneficial physiological effects of algae - vitamin and mineral content, health protection - we recommend it to our senior, vegetarian, health-conscious, athlete and caring mother customers!
