Our citrusy, Mediterranean-style gin, which is the base of the product, carries not only the scent of lemon, lime and orange peel, but also the characteristic scent and taste of anise, juniper and pine nuts appear with a light softness during the tasting. The passion fruit and mango passion fruit flavouring is excellent, while the taste and scent of Mediterranean gin can be felt in the background. The Carly's product family is a 100% Hungarian product.

Producer information

Roland Zimek founded the company together with his wife, Martina, in 1997. Initially, they only produced pálinka in smaller quantities, using contract brewing. They have placed great emphasis on quality right from the start. Their dream of a pálinka distillery with their own brewing equipment came true on 6 December 2005, when they opened their show distillery in Zamárdi, and the Zimek Pálinka Manufaktúra has been operating on the southern shore of Lake Balaton ever since. Right from the start, the founder based the distillery's work specifically on processing fruits grown around Lake Balaton, and he was committed to using only the finest fruits for his pálinkas, which is one of the reasons for their exceptionally good quality. Zimek Pálinka Manufaktúra pálinkas are guaranteed not to contain sugar or any other artificial or natural flavours. Our experts carefully select fully ripe, flawless fruits and pay special attention to ensuring that they are processed gently.
