Lisicza Perla Sparkling
Perla – Green Veltelini sparkling wine. Our winery's new darling. We have added just enough fizz to the fresh fruitiness to knock the socks off fans of the genre.
You may have heard that the Green Veltelini variety is our favourite. We believe that the vineyards of the Pannon Wine Region, the Pécs-Szigetvár axis, provide an ideal terroir for Veltelini to give its best. That's why it was natural for us to put Green Veltelini Perla sparkling wine on the shelf next to Rosé Perla. The base wine's light fruitiness and mild spiciness is a perfect starting point. We added just enough bubbles to the wine to get the mood going. If Ravasz Fehér is a guest wine, then Perla is the prom queen. We recommend it with finger food snacks, prawn salad, and light summer dishes.

Producer information
The history of our family winery, Lisicza Borház, dates back to the second half of the 1800s, when the Mérey family began planting vines on their still-existing Helesfa lands. They bought their cellar and press house in 1906, which is still the centre of their winery today. At that time, they had vineyards in Helesfa, Kővágószőlős and Cserkút, which were nationalised after the Second World War and then the plantations were cut down. In 1998, the replanting, the renovation of the old cellar and the construction of a modern winery began.
Currently, the family estate is managed jointly. The rich variety of the plantation includes classic world varieties and traditional Hungarian varieties, as well as the region's speciality, the Cirfandli. This is how their current assortment was built up, in which wine lovers can taste both reductive and barrel-aged white wines, as well as barrique-aged Bordeaux varieties. As a result of many experiments, they set themselves the goal with their father to find those grape varieties in this special wine region, to explore those winemaking methods that adequately showcase the possibilities and special features of their terroir.
