About the brand
The brand was founded by Gyula Sebő, whose aim was to create equipment that would allow owners and their dogs to spend as much time together as possible. This was the starting point for the foundation of the Julius-K9® brand and the production of dog harnesses. He founded his company in 1997, and by 2003 the K9 dog harnesses were a huge success at the Dortmund exhibition. Sebő believes that the harnesses he designs will become lifelong products for dogs.
Where does the brand name come from?
- Julius: the German equivalent of Gyula Sebő's first name
- K9: Julius Sebő got his first dog at Kele u. 9 in Budapest, and the company's first premises were also at number 9 in Vienna (Langobarden Str. 9.)
