A product typical of the Alpine region. Selected beef is used in its production. The pre-cooked product is baked in an oven heated to a high temperature, thus achieving its characteristic dark brown crust. It can be consumed cold, but its true flavour is achieved when heated. Sliced finger-thick, fried or grilled, it is an excellent addition to stews, but can also be consumed on its own with a salad or even in a sandwich.
